The Foundation
Pathways to Flourish in Nature
Intention

Let people experience that we are an ecosystem, that we are part of nature and that we need to take care for nature
Promote well-being, health, and resilience; especially – but not exclusively – for vulnerable groups in society
Co-creation

The Foundation is created to develop activities that allow people to experience a more reciprocal relationship with nature. We will discover more about how we can flourish in daily live.
Using the methodology of experiential learning we co-create activities in natural environments to foster a more reciprocal relationship with nature and others. How can we naturally flourish in our daily lives? How can we listen to our natural rhythm and go with the flow of the seasons? What can we learn from nature’s wisdom?
Who are we?

The Flourish in Nature Foundation consists of a group of nature lovers and green care professionals.
We are experts in the area of nature inclusive learning, experiential learning, systemic work, nature art based learning, training, coaching, embodiment, eco-psychology, storytelling, hiking, youth work, ecological awakening and climate awareness.

Our Leading Principles
Reciprocal Relationship with Nature

We assume that by encouraging a reciprocal relationship with nature, people feel more connected to nature. Research shows that people who are more connected to nature tend to take better care for nature and themselves. We are complex systems and part of an ecosystem. The environment influences how we feel, and we can positively influence nature as part of the ecosystem.
Flourish in daily life

By flourishing we mean that we experiencing a sense of social, psychological, and physical well-being. We flourish when we feel that we live a meaningful life with kind attention to ourselves, others, and the environment. We experience well-being when we:
- Can make a meaningful contribution to society
- Have compassion for ourselves and others
- Continue to grow personally
- Experience a degree of autonomy
- Have positive relationships with others
- Pursue a purpose in life
